2016 Tax Year Tax Deadline: April 18, 2017
The due date for Tax Year 2016 Individual Tax Returns has come! (The regular tax return filing deadline is April 15 but since it falls on a Saturday and the Washington D.C. Emancipation Day holiday is being observed on April 17 instead of the 16th, Tax Day is on the following Tuesday).
Last Day to Make 2016 IRA Contributions: April 18, 2017
If you haven’t already maxed out your IRA Contribution for 2016, you have until April 18 to lower your 2016 taxable income!
